Shane Chelette

Shane was employed by Long Brothers Oil. He was active in the Smackover Little League program and was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death are his mother, Carloyn Lynn Etue; maternal grandparents, Frank and Verna VanSchoyck; paternal grandparents, Roy and Lorene Chelette; sister, Claire Marie Jones; and step-mother, Shirley Marie Chelette.

Survivors include his loving wife, Julie Anne Conway Chelette of Louann; father and step-mother, Glen and Tammi Chelette of Kenton,OH; two sons, Cody Austin Chelette, Tristan Lane Chelette of Louann; three sisters, Tammy Lynn Snyder (Doug) of Mt. Gilead, OH, Sonja Ann Fox of Galion, OH, Tammy Renee Sweaza (Raymond) of Pea Ridge, AR; and three brothers, Raymond Jones (Amanda) of Hampton, Jacob Chelette, Joey Chelette both of Kenton, OH.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2011, at Young’s.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2011, at the First United Methodist Church in Smackover under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Carl Hart and Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Shane’s Crew; Paul M Long, Stanley Conway, David Long, Bobby Cross, Joe Langley, Kenneth Landers, Pedro Millian, Alberto Izucar, Fredy Izucar, Joel Pena, Miquel Vazquez, Randy Bishop, Tomy Jones, David Kemp.
