Born on March 6, 1953, in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of John Marshall Shackleford Jr. and Helen Hope Hardage Shackleford. Sheryl retired from the Tennessee Department of Health where she was a district WIC nutritionist. Sheryl was a member of the First Christian Church in El Dorado. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, crafts and antiques and trying new foods.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John 'Scooter' Marshall Shackleford III, and a sister Cecile Shackleford Taylor, and stepson Louis "Bubba" C Wray.
Survivors are her husband Louis Wray; a sister-in-law Terri McGoogan Shackleford and her caregiver Melinda Pumphrey all of El Dorado.
Memorial service will be at 2 pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. W.T. Ward officiating. Inurnment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
