She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where she worked as church Secretary before her retirement.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her loving husband of 56 years, Robert C. Palmer; son, Robert A. “Tony” Palmer; and daughter, Robin Simmons.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Paula Andrews of El Dorado; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and son-in-law, Steve Simmons of El Dorado.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Young’s.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Kimball, Rev. Gary Glasgow, and Rev. Bob Endel officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
