Teresa T Diane Jones Purifoy Murry

Teresa was a front office manager of Country Inn and Suites for several years. She was a member of Strong Assembly of God. Teresa was a loving wife and mother who loved to praise the Lord with song. Her rippling on the piano and echoing angelic voice inspired many throughout the years.

Preceding her are her mother Betty E. Burgess; first husband, Bill Purifoy; her mother and father-in-law, Arvil and Ruby Purifoy.

Survivors include her father, Aubrey Jones of Sparkman and her husband, Benny Murry, Sr. of El Dorado; three sons, Paul Purifoy (Meagan) of El Dorado, Benny Murry, Jr. (Rhonda) of Hampton, AR, Ashley Murry (Renee) of El Dorado and one daughter, Shantel Burns (Brian) of El Dorado. Teresa will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Alyssa Purifoy, Emma Purifoy, Jared Murry (Ashlee), Jessica Ricker (John), Destiny Burns, Ryan Burns, Sydney Donahue and Grace Murry; her sisters, Brenda McClelland and Sheila Stegall (Jesse); and a host of nieces, nephews, and church family.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Terry Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Bluff City Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Strong Assembly of God and TEAM CORRIE.
