Thomas Anton Butler

He was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Smackover and worked for Rainer Office Machines in El Dorado for 21 years. Thomas loved music, computers, and his church, but most of all he loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tom Butler of Garland, TX; and grandparents, Julius and Evelyn Axon of Augusta, GA.

Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Elaine Butler; two daughters, Laura and Kathryn Butler all of Smackover; mother, Joyce Butler of Garland, TX; sister, Kathy Williams of Garland, TX; brother, David Butler and wife Julie; father-in-law, Pastor Lonnie Smith and wife Nancy of Smackover; sister-in-law, Angela Donovan and husband Dennis of El Dorado; grandmother, Evelyn Muirhead of Smackover, three nieces; and one nephew.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2013, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the First Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Smackover with Rev. Gordon Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
