Thomas was a third generation Tow Boat Pilot, piloting from Pittsburgh to the Gulf and the Intracoastal Waterway for Ingram Barge Company. He was a member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Preceding him in death are his father Thomas J. Trosclair, mother Lillie B. Trosclair, his son Terry Oliver Trosclair, one sister Linda B Mc Call, and his grandson Jeremy Heath Trosclair.
He is survived by his wife Betty Horne Trosclair and three sons; Thomas D. Trosclair (Maidra), Marcus J. Trosclair, and Jody R. Trosclair all of Mt. Holly, Arkansas. He is also survived by his two special nephews Steven and Jeff Mc Call. Along with his four grandchildren; Megan Lambert, Jacob Trosclair, William Troscair, and Matthew Trosclair. Also surviving are his five great-great grandchildren; Arlie Richard, Gabe Richard, Justyce Eakes, Tyson Trosclair, and Saylor Trosclair.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2:30 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery on O'Rear Road under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with Rev. Steve Cook.
