

Born February 6, 1947, Mr. Hendricks was a lifelong resident of Huttig. He graduated from Huttig High School and attended Louisiana Tech University. Mr. Hendricks served on the Huttig School Board and was a past president. He obtained his electrical apprenticeship from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in El Dorado. He had numerous training certifications from G.E. and Allen Bradley. Mr. Hendricks was currently employed by Union Power Station in El Dorado. He was a Christian and attended Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Huttig.
Mr. Hendricks was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas, Sr. and Mabel Walker Hendricks; his two sisters, Katherine Hendricks and Lillian Hendricks Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diane; three precious daughters, Michele Hines and husband, W.L. of Calhoun, LA; Tamisha Hendricks and Mark Mathews of Huttig; and Tiffany Wooten and husband, Jeff also of Huttig; three grandchildren, giving him much joy and love, Sam and Jill Wooten of Huttig, and Allie Hines of Sterlington, LA; loving mother-in-law, Laverne Hale of Huttig; brothers-in-law, Larry Hale and wife, Linda of Huttig, Randy Hale and wife, Gail of Strong; and Tommy Hale and wife, Jo of Phoenix, AZ; nephews and niece, Robert Johnson of Monroe, LA; Roddy Johnson and wife, Jan of Shreveport, LA; Dean Hale and wife, Wendy of Huttig; Cody Hale and wife, Wendy of Hamburg, AR; Tom Hale and Elizabeth of Laguna Beach, CA; Nikki Hale-Menke and husband, Tony of Phoenix, AZ; and Nathan Hale and wife, Debora of Phoenix, AZ.
He was a loving and wise husband, father, grandfather and was devoted to all his extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Young’s Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Harper Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Morris and Rev. John Mark Little officiating. Burial will follow at Harper Springs Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Serving as pallbearers are Dean Hale, Larry Hale, Randy Hale, Cody Hale, Tony Russell, Danny Cain, Russell Ham, David Measel, Tom Hale, and Roddy Johnson.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are the employees of Union Power Station, Eddie Gathright, Wayne Russell, Robert Johnson, Jimmy Bolton, Herb Henschel, Tommy Hale, Huey Russell, and Harry Russell.
