Born on November 18, 1923 in Junction City, AR; she was the daughter of Henry Johnson Williams and Cora Buckner Williams. Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church of El Dorado. She was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University; she then began her career with Murphy Oil Corporation and retired as an executive secretary.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Doyle L. Cooper, and
brothers Henry Johnson Williams Jr, Houston Buckner Williams, and Doyle Williams,
Survivors are a brother Donald Madison Williams along with a niece and three nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 pm, April 14, 2013 in the chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery near Junction City. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services.
