Gary Bird, 75, of El Dorado, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1944 to Walter Homer and Susie Langley Bird in Anaheim, CA. Gary was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He worked as a carpenter before his retirement.
Preceding him in death are his parents; step-son, Shayne Bailey; and brother, Dwight Bird.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bird of El Dorado; son, Michael Bird (Gina) of El Dorado; daughter, Michelle Henry (Jeremy) of El Dorado; grandchildren, Carson and Cooper; step-daughter, Becky Haynes (Kevin); step-grandchildren, Brianna Hall (Russell), Zach Haynes; step-great grandchildren, Matthew and Brittney Hall; and brother, Bobby Bird (Kathy).
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Young's.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, at Young's Chapel with Jamie Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
