

Wanda was born on March 19th 1927, in Smackover, Arkansas, to her mother Elle Mae Johnson-Longoria and her father Zack T. Longoria.
Wanda attended Smackover High school and graduated from there in 1944. Smackover Highschool is where she met the love of her life Carl Wayne Case. On September 7, 1946, the adoring couple was married and years later became blessed with three children; Wayne, Mary, and Sharon.
Wanda was a licensed nurse that worked at various nursing homes during her career in Natchez, MS and Smackover, AK respectively. She specialized in the comfort, care, and safeguard of patients in these nursing care facilities. Wanda was a selfless and caring nurse who was dedicated to her professional career.
Her career path prepared her for the moments in her life when she had to take care of her late husband and her late mother.
Wanda was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon and her husband Carl.
After her daughter’s untimely death, Wanda raised her Granddaughter Brandy Marie like one of her own children coupled with caring for her husband and her mother.
Wanda will be remembered for being a noble, selfless, and a respectful human being by everyone who encountered her.
Since 2006 Wanda has been residing with her son Wayne and his wife Cheryl in Myakka City, FL. With the help of her Florida family, in the past she has overcome many health obstacles, allowing her to enjoy God, Family, life, friends, loved ones and shopping at Wal-Mart.
Wanda is survived by her children Wayne and Mary, Four grandchildren; Shayne, Carl, Brandy, and Joseph, and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
A graveside service for Wanda will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Smackover Cemetery, E 14th Street, Smackover, AR.
