Alberto Porras, 63, born October 21, 1951, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 4, 2015. He was raised in La Union, New Mexico and graduated from Gadsden High School. Albert later joined the U.S. Air force and retired in 1974. Upon his return he lived in Anthony, New Mexico. Albert was very smart, creative and loved Gods creations of nature. He was humble, loving and never refused to offer a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his mother Librada Salinas Porras. Albert is survived by his father; Ramon Porras. Siblings: Lydia Porras (Gilbert), Efrain Porras (Angie), Eliseo Porras, Melba Gabriel (Ray), Maria E. Perez (Jesus), Evangelina Sanford (Russel), Margarita Blake, and Jose Porras (Juanita). 18 Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Doniphan. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:45 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will in Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
