Janet, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother passing away. I met your Mother and You at the El Paso 4th Ward, what great people you both are. I enjoyed talking to your Mother. Your Mother is a very nice lady. I remember seeing your Mother at Church and she was bruised, I said what happened she said she fell. One Sunday after Sacrament Meeting people were helping your Mother out and I said what happened she said she had Gout. I will miss your Mother at Church. I send my Sympathy's and Condolence's to you Janet and Husband Don and Family and all your Sisters and their Husbands and their Children, May you all be comforted. Rest In Peace Alice. 

May I share this experience with you. I feel your loss and pray for your family. This happened to be at the time I came down at Dad's funeral a few months ago, we talked and as always, she wanted to do more and was a bit put out that she was not asked to make and bring something for Dad's  family funeral luncheon!
But the most memorable thing to me and which I will forever cherish, was when she asked me to give her a blessing...we were late getting into the luncheon because of that, she told me, oh not today, come over later! I told her my Dad taught me better than that and he would kick my butt if I did not do it when she needed it!
What an honor, what a lady!
I was always welcome at Fred and Alice's home!
