Ambrosio BRITO, age 85, of Santa Teresa, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Ambrosio was born November 15, 1934 to Maria del Refugio and Anselmo Brito in Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Ambrosio was an exceptional, hardworking man who unconditionally loved his family. A wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather who did the most for them in any kind of situation. Even with his silly antics, he was a dependable man who always held out a helping hand whenever necessary. A grand human being who had a love for singing and dancing, making sure that those around him would have a great time too. Overall, he enjoyed the 25 years he spent working and learning as an agriculturist.

Ambrosio is survived by his spouse of 46 years, Armida Brito; daughter Alma Delia Brito; son Jaime Brito; and granddaughter Dashia Denise Gallegos.

Ambrosio was preceded in death by his parents Anselmo and Maria del Refugio Brito; Grandson, Jezail Carrera; brothers, Justino and Jesus Brito; sister, Ramona Brito.

Biografía

When Ambrosio Brito walked into the room, those in his company felt energy, an enthusiastic spontaneity. This was just one example of who Ambrosio was and how he impacted those around him. Ambrosio was a clever and gregarious person who always sought out the finest attributes in other people. It was as if Ambrosio wanted to share all of their experiences, revel in their lives and celebrate their discoveries. Ambrosio was tireless and had boundless enthusiasm that would serve him well throughout his life.

Ambrosio was born on November 15, 1934 with a midwife at home in Cuchillo Parado, Chihuahua Mexico. He was the son of Anselmo Brito & Maria Del Refugio Rodriguez. Ambrosio was raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. Always at the ready with a good joke, he grew up to be quite a humorous person. While some who knew Ambrosio might describe him as an idealist, his friends and family understood well that Ambrosio was always in pursuit of life’s endless possibilities and opportunities available to him.

Ambrosio was raised with Ten Siblings. He had 3 older siblings Juliana, Pedro and Fidencio, and 7 younger siblings Justino, Ramona, Juan, Alejandra, Jesus, Maria & Lupe. Ambrosio was very accepting and supportive of his family. He was perceived as the central person in his family in terms of keeping communication open between the family members. Whenever discord or tension arose within the home, Ambrosio was typically the member who brought about resolution and harmony. These traits served Ambrosio well in his adult life and, along with his wit, outgoing personality, and understanding of others, drew the admiration of many who knew him.

Ambrosio was intelligent and had little trouble getting along with his peers. He was almost always the first to jump in when it came to playing games or participating in other childhood activities. In his spare time he enjoyed playing with marbles, spinning top, hide in go seek and the sea snake with friends and siblings. Ambrosio had the ability to find amusement with almost any activity he and the many childhood friends he shared might discover.

Ambrosio was very sociable, assertive and outgoing, that was able to blend without effort into any social group. He was easy to know and demonstrated a deep concern for others, always seemed aware of what was going on with people throughout his life.

Ambrosio moved to Los Angeles, California where he eventually met the love of his life in 1972. they met on a Sunday afternoon at The Hernandez bar restaurant. from there. Ambrosio and Armida danced all night, enjoying each other's company and the atmosphere that was around them. This was the starting point of their love life, as they began going to the theaters, taking their walks through the park, eating out when they could, and of course, dancing. he was a very respectful, loving splendid, and caring man. someone who was truly beyond expectations for Armida. Around two years have passed and their marriage was finally set on December 28, 1974. Ambrosio married Armida Villanueva at Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Catholic Church of Los Angeles, California. Ambrosio's skill at “building bridges” played an important role in his ability to make his new family happy. He was quite sensitive towards Armida's needs, showing his constant concern and fondness. The couple then started a family of their own by having two beautiful children. a son by the name of Jaime Born in November of the year 1975 and a daughter by the name of Alma in September in 1978. Ambrosio was tenderhearted and sensitive, qualities that served him well in helping to nurture his family. The Brito family loved going out to Disneyland, making birthday parties, and having family gatherings on their spare time before they moved to Anthony, New Mexico in 1984. Ambrosio's journey working as an agriculturist started there in their new home with a pecan farm. Nineteen years were he spent on that very land, creating beautiful memories that will never be forgotten.

Ambrosio was a natural and creative parent who was willing to provide his family with all sorts of new and interesting experiences. For Ambrosio, parenting was a particularly enjoyable and pleasurable part of his life. Every activity, from chores to bedtime routines, became a game in the Brito home. Ambrosio's skill at understanding his children's feelings, his sensitivity to their needs, and his gift for gentle persuasion enabled him to find novel solutions to any problem or situation that might crop up. They were also blessed with three grandchildren, Dashia, Jezail and Eli.

Ambrosio was uplifted by new ideas and was excited by life’s possibilities, traits that made him an exceptional worker. His primary occupation was agriculture. He was employed for 20 years by triple d's Anthony Pecans. Ambrosio was enterprising, inventive and working against deadlines seemed to energize him. Ambrosio had the uncanny ability to identify a win/win solution to just about any problem, possibly because of his gift for insight. Ambrosio's fellow workers saw him as a supporter and a mentor.

Because Ambrosio loved to have a broad variety of activities in his life, he took advantage of the opportunity to pursue numerous hobbies. His favorite pursuits were singing and dancing. Ambrosio had a knack for being able to multi-task in order to create time for all of his favorite pastimes. However, Ambrosio's ever-present concern for others always took precedent.

Ambrosio derived much satisfaction from participating in and watching sports. His charisma, supportive nature and ability to improvise when called upon to do so all made perfect attributes for enjoying a great many sporting activities. Ambrosio was also something of a sports fan and enjoyed watching his favorite events whenever he got the opportunity. Tops on his list were boxing, ufc, golf.

Ambrosio's love of improvising in his daily life was a perfect fit for his enjoyment of traveling. His favorite vacations were ones that were not planned. Traveling in a casual manor fit his personality well. Excited about seeing changing scenery and constantly looking for the enjoyment life could offer, Ambrosio took his vacations seriously, well, as seriously as he possibly could. Favorite vacations included California, Disneyland.

Ambrosio was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. Chihuahua dog stimpy, cat- butters, was a best friend for 12 years. His family was rounded out by his 3 dogs and 2 cats.

When Ambrosio's retirement finally came in 1997, Ambrosio handled it the way he usually did. He adapted and, like everything in his life, made it satisfying. Because he was such a flexible person and able to adjust to any situation, retirement was just another enjoyable change of pace for Ambrosio to master. In retirement, he found new pleasure in still kept working for tripe D farms for a few more years then decided to stay at home with his wife.

Ambrosio Brito passed away on October 7 of 2020 at Providence Hospital in El Paso, Texas. Ambrosio fought Parkinson's disease for 20 years. He is survived by his wife Armida, his children Alma Delia, Jaime, his grandchildren, Dashia & Eli, his brother Juan and sisters Juliana, Alejandra, Maria and Lupe. Services were held at Hillcrest Funeral Home West. Ambrosio was laid to rest Cremated (Home).

There was always a certain style and inventiveness to Ambrosio. He was a dynamic, self-expressive person who was forever looking to celebrate the endless possibilities life had to offer. He had a knack for being clever, creative and witty, and for others, was a joy to be around. While he was often fiercely independent, it seemed as if many others looked to Ambrosio Brito for inspiration, leadership, wisdom and even courage. Ambrosio was always more than willing to share life’s experiences with his loved ones.
