

Andrea Gonzalez, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away May 16, 2025. A lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas, Andrea was born on November 30, 1928, and dedicated her life to family, love, and community.
Andrea was the devoted wife of Luis Gonzalez (preceded in death) for nearly 50 years. Together, they built a beautiful life centered in resilience, and unwavering love. She was the proud mother of four children, three sons Juan Luis Gonzalez (preceded in death), Ismael Gonzalez (preceded in death) and Alberto Gonzalez. One daughter, Lydia Ortiz (preceded in death) whose lives were enriched by her wisdom, warmth, and strength.
Her legacy continues through her 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her values and spirit. Andrea was also a cherished sister to Martin Gaitan, Anita Valenzuela, and Esperanza Dominguez. Her extended family includes many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends whose lives she touched deeply.
Known for her generous heart, joyful spirit, and radiant smile, Andrea loved nothing more than spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dogs. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and delicious meals shared around the table.
Andrea Gonzalez will be remembered for the kindness she showed, the stories she shared, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
