It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Armando Almeida, age 77, of El Paso, Texas, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Armando was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Armando was known for his unwavering love for his family and his deep sense of loyalty to those he held dear. He was a man of great character and strength, always ready with a smile and a kind word, and he had an unmatched ability to bring people together. Armando's presence lit up any room, and his infectious laughter will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Armando is survived by his beloved spouse, Alicia Almeida; his daughter, Marissa Almeida; his son, William J. Clarke; and his grandchild, Joey Torres. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters: Thomas, Ruben, Ernesto, Arthur, Alex, Vicky, Magdalena, Julie, Christina, Leonor, Irene, Corina, and Irma. His family was his greatest joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories.
Armando was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Charlie, and his sisters, Margarita and Martha. While they have left a profound gap in his life, his family takes comfort in knowing that they are now reunited.
Armando’s warmth, kindness, and generosity will never be forgotten, and he will always remain in the hearts of his loved ones. May he rest in peace.
