Armando Rivas Sr.

Our Beloved, Armando Rivas Sr; 87, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016. He was a Veteran of the Army, who proudly served in the Korean War with the 27th Wolfhound Division and a Devoted Catholic to Little Flower church. Armando is survived by his Wife: Rita Rivera Rivas, Sons: Armando Jr. (Lois), Reymundo (Diana), Carlos, and Alberto Rivas. Daughters: Rita R. Fuentes, Anita Rivas (Dora Aguirre), Sisters: Estella Alonzo, Aurora Martinez, 13 grandchildren: Melissa Hernandez, Cecilia Hinojos, Reymundo Jr; Jessica, Daniel, Matthew, Paul, Mikael, Victoria, Isaac, Jacqueline Rivas, Vanessa Lopez, Monica Tuttle, Jennifer Gamez, and 26 Great-Grandchildren. Armando is preceded in death by his Parents: Miguel, and Juana Rivas, Siblings: Mike (Chapo), Raul, Luis Rivas, Herlinda Gonzalez, and Great-Grandchild: Isaiah Hernandez. Pallbearers: Armando Rivas Jr; Carlos Rivas, Rey Rivas, Alberto Rivas, Jonah Hernandez, Mikael Rivas, Daniel Rivas, Christopher Escalante. Honorary Pallbearers: Isaiah Hernandez, Rey Rivas Jr; Paul Rivas, Matthew Rivas, Noah Hernandez, Isaac Rivas, Joshua Rivera, and Aleksandro Rivas. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Hillcrest-Carolina with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Little Flower at 1:00 pm with a Interment to following at Fort Bliss National Cemetery ETA 2:30 pm.
