Arthur Louis Reynoso, a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2024, at the age of 72. Born on February 23, 1952, in El Paso, Texas, Arthur was a man of faith, integrity, and love, and whose life was a testimony to his unwavering devotion to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a beautiful reflection of God's love, and he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to bless all who knew him.
Arthur was a cherished husband to Elvia Irene Reynoso, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage this month. He was also a loving brother to George Reynoso and Elizabeth (Michael) Maline. As a father, Arthur was a guiding light to his children: Andrew (Jennifer) Reynoso, Reuben (Casey) Reynoso, Paul Reynoso, and Eileen (Tyler) Paugh. He led by example, instilling in them the values of hard work, honesty, and compassion. His greatest joy was watching his children grow in their own walks with the Lord, and he was always there to support them with wisdom and encouragement.
Arthur was also a proud and loving grandfather to five grandchildren: Matthew Reynoso, Alexander Reynoso, Jolene Reynoso, Lila Reynoso, and Brianna Paugh. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he took great delight in watching them grow and thrive.
Arthur was a proud Burges High School and UTEP graduate. After working at the El Paso Natural Gas Company and Burlington Northern in the 80’s and 90’s, he took on the role of cost accountant for major international corporations with operations in Juarez, Mexico, including Siemens Osram Sylvania for 20 years until he retired in 2018. He immediately found a gratifying part-time role with his brother, George Reynoso, as the Chief Accountant and all-round mentor to the staff at All that Music & Video until his last days.
Throughout his life, Arthur was an active member of LifeGate Church/Jesus Chapel Fellowship, where he served faithfully in various ministries. His love for the Lord was evident in all that he did, from his weekly Bible studies to participating in outreach programs such as the Good Samaritan Ministry for the homeless.
A celebration of Arthur's life will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at LifeGate Church. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to LifeGate Church or Jesus Chapel School in Arthur's memory.
