With profound love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of a beautiful man whose presence shaped generations of our family. Arturo Cangas, a man of honor, integrity, love, and kindness, passed away on November 23rd, 2025 surrounded by his devoted family. His final moments reflected the way he lived every day—held close by those who cherished him most.
He built a legacy rooted firmly in hard work and heart. He brought smiles wherever he went and left people better than he found them. His legacy is not only in the tradesman skills he taught or the work he completed, but in the compassion, humor, and love he gave freely. Today, many of his children and grandchildren continue to walk the same path he forged, carrying his dedication through the pipelines of El Paso, Texas from the knowledge he has passed down.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carolina Cangas, his five children—Arturo, Michael, Luis, Araceli, and Adrian Cangas— 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 brothers and 8 sisters. Arturo preceded in death by his father Felipe, mother Carmen, and brother Juan Luis. He created memories that will live in our hearts forever, memories filled with his laughter, his warmth, and the joy he so effortlessly shared.
Family and friends will gather to honor a man whose life was a true gift to all who knew him.
