She was a seamstress at Mann & also Hicks-Ponder Manufacturing. A beloved wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She greatly loved to cook for anyone who would stop in to visit!
Preceded in death by her parents Salvador Acosta & Refugio Salgado, all but one of her siblings: Jose, Angel, Valol, Ramona y Aurora (cuatas), Arturo Ignacio (Nacho), Jose Maria (Guero), Rosa Maria y Alberto, her son Hector Nahum & grandson Robert Nahum.
She is survived by her sister Maria Luisa (Licha), son Joel, daughter Aurora, her grandchildren Kristopher, Elizabeth, Jael, Ector, Audrey, Jenniffer, Norbert, Matthew & Hector Nahum, great grandchildren Justin, JJ & 13 others and 8 great-great grandchildren, her niece Nancy, nephew Sabas Jr. & 21 others and her 4 beloved nephew grandchildren: Joe, Alan, Christian & Alexander.
Funeral services will be 4-8 PM Monday, July 17, 2023 at CrestView Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79936 with Pastor Sergio Melendez Sr. praying at 6 PM. Additional viewing on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 10-12:30 PM with procession leaving immediately to burial at Evergreen Cemetery on Alameda.

Fue costurera en Mann y Hicks-Ponder Manufacturing. Una amada esposa, madre, tía, abuela, bisabuela y tatarabuela. ¡A ella le encantaba cocinar a cualquiera que se detuviera a visitarla!

Los servicios funerarios serán de 4 a 8 p.m. el Lunes 17 de Julio de 2023 en CrestView Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, TX 79936 con el pastor Sergio Melendez Sr. orando a las 6 p.m. Visita adicional el Jueves 20 de Julio de 2023 de 10a.m. a 12:30 p.m. con procesión saliendo inmediatamente al entierro en Evergreen Cemetery en Alameda.
