Benito is survived by his spouse, Blanca E. Hernandez; his son Anthony Hernandez; his son Benito Hernandez IV; his daughter Nancy Hernandez; and his daughter Ivonne N. Hernandez; his sister Carolina Cano, his sister Bertha Hernandez, his brother Juan Hernandez and his brother Gonzalo Hernandez; his grandchild Oscar A. Castro Jr., his grandchild Ivan Castro, his grandchild Dru-Martin Hernandez, his grandchild Kyra Hernandez, his grandchild Nikolya Hernandez, his grandchild Destiny Castro, his grandchild Sofia Perez and his great-grandchild Gianna Castro.

Benito was preceded in death by his son Benito Hernandez III; his father Benito Hernandez Sr. and his mother Bertha Hernandez; his sister Blanca De Los Santos.

A visitation for Benito will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932. A rosary will occur Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at San Martin De Porres, 1885 McNutt Rd, Sunland Park, NM 88063. A graveside service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Mem Pnes Rd, Sunland Park, NM 88063.
