

Dr. Benjamin Philip Boswell graduated from Austin High School in 1960 and Texas Western College in 1964. At Texas Western, he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. He then attended University of Texas Dental School in Houston in 1964 and graduated in 1968. He joined the U.S. Army and served as a Captain at Fort Ord, California. He established his dental practice in El Paso in 1970, and has been an active dentist until the time of his death. He was a lifetime member of the Texas Dental Association.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Boswell, his brother Toby Boswell, and his children Kimberly Haefner and her husband Doug and their children, Joshua and Jeremy, his son, Brent Boswell and his wife, Darla, and their son, Benjamin. He is also survived by step children Veronica Flamand and her husband Joseph Flamand and their children, Tracii and Joseph Flamand, Rogelio Gomez Jr and his children, Ashlie and Rogelio Gomez III, Barbara Castro and her husband Jose Castro and their children, Avery and Collin Castro, Cynthia Caro and Joseph Martinez and their children, Kellie and Kacie Caro.
Benjamin was a long time resident of El Paso where he lived all his life. He loved to play golf and enjoyed sports, as well as played football in high school. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a long time member of Saint Francis Anglican Church and also an active member of the Brotherhood of St. Francis.
The visitation is from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Martin Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am on Friday January 17, 2014 a Cathedral Church of St. Francis Anglican, 470 Eagle Dr., El Paso, TX 79912.
Benjamin Boswell was a wonderful loving husband, father, and grandfather. He possessed a strong work ethic, great sense of humor, and taught by example. He will be greatly missed. www.martinfuneralhomewest.com
