Carlos was a lifelong El Pasoan and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1974. He obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees afterwards from UTEP.
Carlos had a passion for golf, even achieving a hole in one in January 2014. He was also a big sports fan, especially of UTEP Miner basketball and football.
Carlos is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna; his sons, Carlos(Samantha) and Thomas; and his four grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Scripture Service is scheduled on the same day from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
