In 1999 Kay and Art left Alaska for their new home in El Paso, Texas. They spent the next 22 summers traveling around the states visiting friends and family while enjoying the wonders of the country. Kay is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Major Arthur W. Trantham Sr., children; Tammera A. (Trantham) Richardson (Brent A. Richardson), Kelli A. (Trantham) Perry (Michael L.
