Cecilia A. Lopez

Cecilia Ann Lopez, 57, passed away Friday November 13, 2015. She graduated from Jefferson High School class of 1975. She enjoyed a fulfilling career in law enforcement with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and Harris County Constables Office Precinct 5 in Houston, TX. She retired from the Office of the Attorney General of Texas in 2013. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and a special friend to all that knew her. She very much enjoyed supporting her Daughter and Son’s musicianship through her many years of involvement with the Americas High School Band Booster Organization. In her retirement she enjoyed the freedom to travel and spending time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed, but will always be in our hearts. She is preceded in death by her Father, Jose Angel Rubio, and Sister, Bertha Alicia Rubio. She is survived by Husband David Lopez; Son, Michael Lopez; Daughter, Elizabeth Lopez; Mother, Alicia Rubio; Brothers, Jose Rubio, Ricardo Rubio, Hector Rubio, John Rubio; and Sisters, Rosa Gamboa, Patricia Rubio, and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation from 6 PM-9 PM Monday, November 23, 2015 at Hillcrest 1060 N. Carolina with Vigil at 7PM. Funeral Mass at 10 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar Rd.
