Charles ”Bud” Warner was the Director of the Calibration Laboratory at White Sands Missle Range, where he worked for over 40 years. Charles was also a member of the Elks Club, the Optomist Club and the Woodworkers Club of El Paso, Texas. Additionally he was always a very involved parent volunteering for whatever needed to be done at all of his children’s schools, Assumption Elementary, Loretto Academy and Cathedral High School.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Anna Warner and the love of his life, Wanda M. Warner with whom he was married to for 59 years.
Charles is survived by his brother Frederick "Pete" Warner (Julia); daughter Christine Warner-DeLeon (Eric); and son John L. Warner (Cathy); grandson Nathanial DeLeon (Michelle); granddaughter Alexandria DeLeon and great grandson, Saba Puzin DeLeon, along with many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
In the last 20 years of his life, Charles rescued and loved several dogs. Therefore in lieu of flowers please send donations to Animal Rescue League of El Paso, 7256 La Junta Dr, Canutillo, Texas 79835 (915) 877-5002.
The Warner family would also like to thank the staff at Monte Vista of Coronado and the loving caretakers, Norma, Irma, and Donna from Homewatch Caretakers who made Charles’ life not only comfortable but delightful in his last years.
