Consuelo "Chelo" Yañez

Chelo is survived by her son Alfredo Yañez; her son Javier Yañez (Gloria); and her daughter Leticia Yañez Contreras (Mario Jr.); her grandson Rodolfo Yañez (Marissa), her grandson Jay T. Yañez, her grandson Mario Contreras III, her great grandson Milo Ezra Yañez and her great granddaughter Kali Elizabeth Yañez.

Chelo was preceded in death by her husband Rodolfo Yañez Sr.; her son Rodolfo Yañez Jr.; her father Antonio Bustillos and her mother Concepcion Bustillos.

A memorial gathering for Chelo will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A rosary will occur Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Ave, El Paso, Texas 79907. A graveside will occur Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, Texas 79907.
