Damacio is survived by his wife, Leonila Garcia. He is also survived by his children John Atkins, Damacio K. Garcia, Richard Garcia, Fernando R. Garcia, Roberto A. Garcia, Selinda Hite, Maribel Ochoa and Denys Garcia.
A visitation for Damacio will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the Rosary at 6:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 9:30 AM at San Antonio Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, Texas 79915.
Damacio will be laid to rest in Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906.
