In loving Memory of David Cerros
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, David Cerros, who left us this morning. David was a musical veteran in the El Paso scene for over 20 years, sharing his love for music with countless people across various genres, including classic oldies, country western, Spanish love songs, Christian originals, classic rock and Jazz.
Davids true passion was entertaining and uplifting the elderly, performing at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and adult Daycares. His warmth and compassion touched the hearts of many, including clients such as one the Mayors of El Paso, the Corvette Car Club, and the Inn of the Mountain Gods in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
A man of Faith David had a strong Christian background. He dedicated time to ministering to the homeless on the streets of downtown El Paso, as well as to children in Odessa and the lower valley projects. David also played a pivotal role in his Christian band. Fishers of men and Israel, spreading the word of God through music.
David will be remembered not only for his musical talents but for his kind heart and unwavering commitment to spreading love and Faith through his music. He leaves behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched.
Rest in Peace our Brother, my son David (Beloved). Your music and Spirit will live on and in all of us.
