Such a sweet friend with a heart of gold and a voice to match!! He will be missed deeply

I only met David briefly, but the impact that he had in my life is immeasurable. David kindly listened and supported me through a difficult time. He helped me see the beauty in life and encouraged me to follow my dreams. He was truly a light in my path. I did not get to say this to him, so I wanted to share it with others. David will remain one of the greatest beings I’ve ever met.  Sending heartfelt condolences to the family. 

David was funny and always relatable to be around at work. He always made the space feel lighter, reminding me not to take it all so seriously all the time. 
After he moved to San Antonio, The love his dad has for him and the way he would talk about his son’s new adventures and accomplishments always motivated me to explore more. 
My Condolences, prayers, and love are with you all. 



David and I were close once. We would practice our monologues and script’s together. He got me into taking acting seriously. He was there for me as a friend and he was such a sweetheart. He serenaded me at my 21st or 22nd birthday. I’ll remember our friendship and our late night talks. My heart goes out to him and his family. What a wonderful talented gentle soul he was and is. We love y’all. 

I LOVED hearing David perform his music. I admired his bravery as I watched him travel to New York, with guidance from his father, to pursue his dream of being a musician.  He learned a great deal about the city and music in such a short time and he continued making connections every step of the way. I will forever miss his voice and his warm smile. 

Mr. Hancock was such a beautiful soul very kind and generous he was a great teacher, coworker and friend. May he rest in peace your AIM students and I will for ever have you in our hearts
