Dora was born on June 21, 1949 in El Paso, Texas. and was the daughter of the late Florencia Castañeda and Manuel Castañeda.
Dora is survived by her beloved sister, Delfina Najera of El Paso, Texas. Dora enjoyed spending time with her sister Delfina! Both enjoyed shopping, eating a good meal together and spending sisterly time together. Dora was a member of St. Stephens Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am at St. Stephens Deacon and Martyr Catholic Church at 1700 George Dieter Dr., El Paso, Texas. 79936. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. A Burial Service will be held following the mass at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at 401 S. Zaragoza Rd. 79907.
