

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Earl Edward Fisher on January 14, 2025. Born on September 26, 1936, in Red Bluff, California, he lived a life filled with purpose and love. For 47 years, he dedicated himself to the Union Pacific Railroad, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his job.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lora Jane Fisher, and their four children: Stanley (Cathy) and their daughter Tignes; David (Suzanne) and their son Cody; Jackie Saenz and her children Ryan (Katie), Madison, and Cameron; and Amy (Victor) DeAlba and their sons Benjamin and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtia Fisher, and his brothers, Leo and Norman.
Looking back on his life, it is clear that he took advantage of every day, fulfilling his purpose on this earth. His hard work and unwavering kindness made him not only a faithful husband and father but also a cherished neighbor and friend. He built a solid foundation for his grandchildren, instilling values that will continue to shine through them for generations to come.
Joy radiated from him, and he lived a dream life filled with love and laughter. His admirable traits—compassion, integrity, and resilience—will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. The legacy he leaves behind is one of love, guidance, and inspiration.
As family and friends celebrate his remarkable life, it is a reminder of the countless ways he touched the lives of others. Earl Edward Fisher will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the stories we share and the lessons we carry forward.
