Edmundo Silva Jr.

On Monday morning, January 13, 2025, our beloved Mundo left us to meet his creator surrounded by his loving family. Edmundo was born May 18, 1961 in El Paso, Texas to Edmundo Silva Sr. and Manuela Silva. He lived his entire life in El Paso and graduated from Austin High School in 1979. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in El Paso. He was a proud owner of his own construction company, Global Construction Inc.

Mundo was a good and humble man. He was a good husband, good father, good papa, good son, good brother. He enjoyed his ranch, cultivating the earth, a quiet and peaceful life. He traveled many countries during his lifetime. His faith kept the family united, his strong belief in God kept him going during the most difficult time of his life.

Mundo was preceded in death by his loving mother Manuela. He is survived by his wife Patricia Silva, his children Javier (Ana), Yvette (Joseph), Mundo Jr. (Summer), Johnny, Neomi, Sarah and 7 grandchildren. He also leaves behind his father Edmundo Silva Sr., his brother Ernesto Silva (Rosa), Luis Silva (Irene) sisters Rosario Garcia, Veronica Gallardo, Ana Silva and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, 5054 Doniphan Dr. El Paso, Texas 79932. A Celebration of Life will begin at 6:00 pm. The burial procession will meet at Funeraria Del Angel at 10:00 am and will proceed to RestLawn Memorial Park Cemetery for a 12:30 pm burial, 4848 Alps Drive, El Paso, Texas 79904.
