Edubijen R. Avila, 80, passed away March 24, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his children: Eddie Avila Jr., Ruben Avila, Jose Luis Avila, Elia Carrasco, Rose Avila, Elena Estrada, Florinda Avitia, Irma Avila and Veronica Avila; 24 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; brother: Julian Avila Jr. and sisters: Juanita Garcia & Virginia Avila. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
