

The family moved to the U. S. when she was in the third grade. She was naturalized when she was a senior in high school. Elsie graduated with honors from Austin High School in 1968. We were married on March 25, 1970, here in El Paso. During our 55-year marriage we had two sons of which we have always been very proud of. We have five wonderful grandchildren; Andy, Jacob, Emma, Avery and Kyle who have been the light of our lives. Elsie attended UTEP graduating in 1972 with a degree in Journalism. In 1994 she graduated with a master’s in creative writing. For ten years she taught creative writing to seniors through the Community College. Her latest novel “The Last Ghost Dance” won The International Book Award.
She also has a standalone “Secrets of The Tunnels”. Her most famous series is the Harry Bronson series, which was awarded best novel of the year, including best character. Elsie also wrote the bestselling inspirational series “Angels and Miracles”
Elsie’s favorite thing was to make others happy. She is sending you her love and happiness as we speak.
