Elvira Martinez Torres, age 87 of El Paso, Texas was called to her Lord and Savior on January 27th, 2022. Elvira lived a blessed life as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was born on October 29th, 1934 in Michoacán, Mexico to parents Juan and Martha Martinez who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Manuel Torres of 49 years, her son Louis Torres, her sister Guadalupe Martinez and brother Kiko Martinez.
She is survived by her children Gloria Torres Kwasnick, John Torres, and Joe Torres; her grandchildren Melaney Torres, Jewell Torres, Sarah Torres, Raquel Torres, Jezerel Torres, and Kourtney Kwasnick; great grandchildren Austin Montes and Josiah Peterson.
Her viewing will be at Martin Funeral Home East on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 from 12pm-3pm with her vigil beginning at 1pm. Her funeral service will be on Monday, February 7th 2022 at Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9am-10am followed by her burial at Fort Bliss National Cemetery from 10:30am-11:30am.
