Enriqueta Sanchez

Enriqueta (Delgado) Sanchez, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all, passed away peacefully at home June 6, 2014, at the age of 85. “Queta” was a native El Pasoan and is fondly remembered by many as co-owner of the family business Tidwell’s Foods. Preceding her in death was her husband Ruben Sr. whom she was married to for 57 wonderful years; parents Cenovio and Virginia Delgado; and 3 brothers; Mando, Bobby, and Mario.

She is survived by 5 children; Ruben Jr. (Cindy), Rebecca Beltran (David), Rachel Armendariz (Ruben), Roland Sr. (Patricia), and Rene (Debbie). Also leaving behind to cherish her in memory are grandchildren; Jay (Lisa), Ryan (Malory), Erica (Jim), Desiree (John), Lisa Nadine, Roland Jr., Rubina, and Taylor; great grandchildren Paige, Savannah, Sydney, Avery, Xavier, Hayley, Isabella, and Gianna; brother Arnulfo Delgado and her faithful pet Rusty.

Enriqueta’s kindness, compassion and devotion to family, friends and even strangers will continue to be an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the loving and tender care given to their mother by caretakers Dora, Mari, and Julia; Dr. Christine Hernandez and Dr. Kwasi Adzotor, the staff at Regent Care Center, and Mary Ponzio and Socorro from Cima Hospice.
