Estela Silva

Estela Silva, 63 died peacefully surrounded by family in her home in El Paso, Texas on Friday, February 5, 2016. She was born December 7, 1952 in El Paso, Texas to Silvestre and Maria Silva who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers Manuel and Ramon Silva. She is survived by her three children Joseph Javier Jimenez, Jovanna Reneé Jimenez, and Jessica Nicole Jimenez; along with her beloved grandchildren Israel Xavier Rubalcaba, Milijana Reneé Rubalcaba, Natalia Noelle Rubalcaba. Surviving brothers and sisters include Rebecca Trevino, Martha Silva, Ricardo Silva, Cuca Silva-Flores, Martin Silva, Roberto Silva, Raymundo Silva, Daniel Silva, Esther Ortiz, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was known for her generous spirit, her perseverance through adversity, and her ability to make everyone feel appreciated. She dedicated her life in the nursing field for over 42 years and inspired everyone around her. She was a dedicated Christian, passionate about life and encouraged everyone to find a relationship with Jesus Christ. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 5 to 9pm at F.D.A. Martin East on George Dieter with a Celebration of Life at 7pm. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 10th at 9 am at F.D.A. Martin-East. Burial will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. We would like to give special thanks to the Ramirez Family for their devoted care of our mother until her journey home. She will be greatly missed.
