He was always there & he would play with me.  One memory was  when we went Fishing he told me never to give up on catching the fish and skip rocking Rest in peace Papa 😞👼💕

Mr. Floyd always knew how to engage with all of us students and keep the peace at Bowie H.S. I went there year 92-94 and he was always so happy, will put a smile in our faces, he was one more homie to all of us. Thank you for everything Mr. Floyd, you'll be missed ... R.I.P. Sir. 😔💖

Bowie was the better for having "Floyd" watching out for all of us. Our most sincere condolences. 

You fought long and hard and never gave up. You’re my VA/NC homie always. I know you’re able to hunt and fish now that you loved so much. We will always miss you! I know you’re just up ahead waiting around the corner for the rest of us to catch up to you, old friend.

My deepest condolences to the Floyd family.  I remember Mr. Floyd like others from Bowie High School. Not only did he watch over us but was always there for us.  He opened up the lockers so we would have the materials we needed so we wouldn’t get in trouble. Not only did he listen to our problems or concerns but  always gave us good advice. I’m saddened to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed. RIP Mr. Floyd

Mr. Floyd was very encouraging and always reminded me to study hard and stay focused on a good path. He was a kind and positive man. I'm glad he was a good part of Bowie. Rest in peace

He was the best person I ever met he let's us get away with a lot of things.  He will be missed and he also taught me right from wrong.  If we needed to talk about  things he would always be there for us and to listen to our problems 


He was the best. He was always the best to help me out. He showed me to do the best and to keep on going. He helped us all and I’m glad he always helped us all going through bad or good. God gained another Angel❤️Thank u❤️

First and foremost my deepest condolences to the Floyd family during this time. I too was a student at Bowie High and I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Floyd. He would always have something good to say to us as students, he would always bring out the best in us. One of my fondest memories of Mr. Floyd was when we were practicing in our band and he would come and sing with us. I remember one song when he realized what the lyrics said he just said, “what in the world is this?” as he shook his head. But he always wore a smile regardless. I am saddened by the news but I know he is up in the heavens knowing just how many hearts he touched and how many lives he influenced. Rest In Peace Mr Floyd. 

My deepest condolences to his family and everyone that had the opportunity to know him. He was one amazing person, always smiling and keeping us on check. I had the opportunity to meet him when I was a student at Bowie High School. Thank you for always helping me out and giving me advice. He had to open the lockers for me one time so I could get my stuff when I had forgot something even when we weren’t supposed too, but he did it so we wouldn’t get in trouble in that class. But he sure brought it to my attention being serious but smiling at the same time, after that day I never forgot anything anymore. You sure will be missed so much. May you Rest In Peace🙏🏻😢
