He was born in Satevo, Chihuahua. At the age of 19 he legally immigrated to the U.S. under a "guest worker" program - the Bracero program during WWII.
He is survived by his two sons: Noe Ruiz and Facundo Ruiz, Jr, and four daughters: Paula Ruiz, Maria Lourdes Ambriz, Maria Irma Ruiz, and Virginia Ruiz, a grand-daughter: Dahlia Kelly and a great grand-son: Alex C. White. In addition he has a surviving brother, Jesus, and nieces and nephews who live in Chihuahua.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Maria H. Ruiz.
He was witty, charming, kind, generous, loving man who brought joy and laughter to those who had the privilege to know him. He will be sorely missed, and his family thanks God for the gift of his long life and all the years shared.
