Frank graduated from Jefferson High School on May 1978 where he was a member of the basketball team. After graduation Frank was a member of other city basketball leagues where he won several trophies. Due to his knee injuries he was no longer able to play but faithfully continued to follow the sport. Frank was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. No matter what, he would not miss a televised game. He enjoyed playing his guitar and liked to dance. He was always telling his family he had the “moves”.
Frank was employed by Sams where he worked for 31 years. He loved working there and up to the end he would talk about the customers and his job. As to his co-workers he called them and considered them his friends. He was always saying he couldn’t wait to recuperate so he could return to work, to his friends.
Frank was a member of Abundant Living Faith. He attended services on Wednesdays and Sundays. He was quick to preach the word of God to those in need and led them to Christ. Frank had a big heart and would literally give you the shirt off his back along with his shoes, belt, and anything else you might need. Many a time you would find a bag with clothing in his truck to give to a person in need. He would always remember where he saw someone who needed a coat, shoes, something to eat. If he couldn’t stop and help he would go afterwards searching for that person. At times he would feel helpless he couldn’t help more.
