Gilbert John Martinez, “Beto”, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. Beto was a very loving, caring, compassionate, strong and dedicated son, brother and friend. He was a very well respected man. He is survived by his mother, Carmen R. Martinez, his brothers, Jimmy, David and Raymond; his sisters in-law Connie and Janet; his niece and nephews include Larissa Martinez-Ibarra, Jimmy Jr., Joseph, Jason, Randy, Kris and Kreg along with many more nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East Funeral Home with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00pm. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 9:15am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 North Clark Road, El Paso, Texas 79905. 915-772-3226. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
