Gilberto T. Lujan

Mr. Gilberto T. Lujan Sr., passed away peacefully in his home the early morning on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the age of 93. He was born in El Paso, Texas on October 6, 1931 and a life long resident of Socorro, Texas. He was a US Army Veteran and served his country with pride. The family asked that he be remembered for the joy he brought to others in life, not the sadness of his passing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years of marriage to Dorina C. Lujan, sons Gilbert Lujan Jr. (Becky Lujan), Ernesto Lujan (Alma Lujan), daughter Yolanda Lujan-Alarcon (Oscar Alarcon), 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and sister Mary L. Loya. The Lujan family wishes to thank all those who helped care for our beloved husband/father/grandfather in the past few months. Also thank, Dr. Ramsey Hazboun, VA Dr. Alejandra Arambula, Veronica and Emilio from Santa Fe Home Care, Tender Care Home Health and Hospice staff, and Patricia Molina. The Lujan family is also grateful for the prayers and expressions of sympathy during this time and invite you to attend his celebration of life. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Martin Funeral Home 1460 George Dieter, El Paso, Texas 79936 on July 21, 2025 at 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Following his final resting home at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. May he rest in the peace of Christ.
