Gloria M Petterson

Gloria Miledi Patterson, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on the evening of September 23, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pat Patterson, her mother, Matilde Miledi, her father, Nasim Miledi, her brothers, Victor, Albert, and Nacim D. Miledi, and her sister, Julie Miledi Brown. She is survived by her sister, Blanca M. Abraham, her brother, Distinguished Professor UCI Ricardo Miledi (Mela), her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, all of whom loved her dearly. A longtime resident of El Paso, and a buyer for several stores in El Paso and Houston, Gloria Patterson lived a life full of love and laughter. With her captivating smile, her contagious laugh, her unwavering elegance, strength, and sense of humor, even in the face of adversity, Gloria will be sorely missed. For those of us she has left behind, it is only for a while that we must part. So bless the memories of Gloria within your hearts and find comfort in knowing that Gloria is looking down on all of us, smiling, happy, and at peace, waiting to welcome us home.

Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Thursday, September 27, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
