Graciela Russell

Graciela Gandara Russell lost her battle with cancer November 30th 2011 at the age of 63. Graciela resided in El Paso, Texas but in her last days, cherished her time at their condominium in Coronado, CA.

Graciela was known for her remarkable cooking and entertaining. From California to Kentucky her loved ones craved her delicious rice, salsa & pico de gallo, posole, and scrumptious rum cake.

Graciela, an ever classy and elegant woman craved only “crispy tacos” in her last days.

Survived by her husband of 20 years, Patrick Russell, daughters Erin Stroud and Marla Kate Russell, her mother Maria Elena Gandara, and siblings Martha Gonzalez (Wally), Pedro Gandara Jr., Sylvia Gandara, and Cynthia Gandara,

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at Martin Funeral Home West. A private graveside service will be held by the family. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:30AM at Coronado Baptist Church, located at 501 Thunderbird Drive in El Paso, TX. Pastor Mike Woods will officiate the service.
