Guadalupe Lupe Gonzalez Liano

Guadalupe Liano (Lupe), born February 11, 1937, passed away peacefully in her home to be with Our Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Liano, parents: Crispin and Marcelina Gonzalez, and brother, Ruben Gonzalez. She is survived by her children: Guadalupe Munoz and husband, Ruben, Mary Beverley and husband, Eldredge, Martha Aranda and husband David, Letty Bell and husband, David, and son Roberto Liano. Siblings include: Jose Guadalupe, Margarita, Inocencia, Benjamin, and Maria. Lupe had 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Lupe's life was dedicated to taking care of her family starting with her brothers and sisters at an early age. After marrying the love of her life, Robert, they raised five beautiful children. She instilled faith, love, and a strong work ethic in all of them that is to be passed on to the next generations. Lupe was a dedicated and loyal parishioner of San Jose Catholic Church. Those of you that had a close personal relationship with Lupe were able to experience her generosity, compassion, and her deep faith and devotion to God. Lupe and Robert were able to enjoy traveling across the United States on many road trips during their retirement years. Lupe and Robert were one with the Lord and we have been blessed with their presence here on earth. They saved the best road trip for the end - The Kingdom of God. How happy they must be now – together again, with the Lord! Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Hillcrest Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 am on Friday, October 4, 2013 at San Jose Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at 10:30 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
