

Herlinda was predeceased by her husband Juan R. Campos of many years. Her family includes predeceased daughter Gloria Campos, son Tony Campos (grandchildren Tony and Jennifer), predeceased daughter Linda Wade (predeceased grandson John Wade), daughter Irma Campos (granddaughter Georgiana), predeceased son Tomas Campos (granddaughter Crystal and grandson Christian), predeceased son Arturo Campos (granddaughter Valerie), son Peter Navarrete (grandson Pedro), she also leaves behind 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, all of whom were blessed by her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love.
For many years, Herlinda opened her heart and home as a foster parent and child caregiver, dedicating her life to nurturing and caring for children in need. Her compassion touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of kindness that will live on for generations.
Herlinda had a deep love for dancing, laughing, and life itself. Her joy was contagious, her laughter unforgettable, and her spirit vibrant well into her later years. She embraced each day with grace, humor, and an appreciation for life that inspired everyone around her. Herlinda also was a member of the El Paso Ladies Auxiliary club.
Herlinda leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, located at 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas, 79915, on February 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. During the visitation, a Rosary will take place at 7:00 pm.
The funeral mass will be conducted at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church, 503 Hunter Dr, El Paso, Texas, 79915, on February 13, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Following the mass, a graveside service will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX, 79906, at 1:30 pm.
Herlinda's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
