May God embrace all of Herman's family members bringing them heartfelt memories. Know now, that with his silver medal and two purple hearts,he now has earned his wings and looking upon all of you with a great peace.

Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USMC in Vietnam. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My deep and heartfelt condolences to the Galindo family and friends. Serving with this patriot was an honor I will never forget. Herman redefined valor and courage for me and for his fellow Marines, many of whom are enjoying a reunion in the halls of Valhalla. Rest in peace, "El Toro".

I never met you, Mr. Galindo, but you were no doubt an incredible, honorable man since your children are a shining  reflection of your values and teaching.   Sincerest condolences to all your family members and loved ones.
