She attended Grade School and High School in her hometown. In 1945 she graduated from the University of Munich Germany. After the war she worked as liaison for the German Telephone Company and the United States Army where she met her beloved husband George Jones. They married September 15, 1956 in her hometown.
After her husband's retirement from the Army and the Raytheon Company, they traveled the United States and Europe.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, her stepson George Jr., her brothers-in-laws Harry C. Jones, Bernard L. Jones, and Donald Jones plus her sister-in-laws Rosanna Jones and Alberta Jones.
She is survived by her stepdaughter Deborah Jones, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Loree Jones of Hillsboro, OH, and Waltraut Jones of Spanaway, WA. Also surviving her are several cousins in Germany.
Hildegard L. Jones died peacefully in her sleep on April 19, 2021.
