James R. Fox – Born in El Paso, Texas January 20, 1933; ran into the arms of Jesus with shouts of “well done” on June 2, 2018. Jimmy forever modeled how Jesus would care for people. His kindness, generosity, integrity, and sense of humor will long be celebrated.
He attended Rusk Elementary and Austin High School and served in the Navy for three years. He graduated from UTEP with an accounting degree and practiced public accounting in El Paso for 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Virginia; his parents, Robert and Agnes Fox; a daughter Stephanie; and a son, Greg. He is survived by a daughter Sharon Walker (Dale), and a son Patrick Fox (Cheryl "the red-headed lady"), his sister Jean McDaniel, nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. A celebration service will be held June 15, at 4:00 pm, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 Carolina Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy's memory to Heart for the World Ministries, 2118 Grant, El Paso, TX 79930.
