James is survived by his mother, Sanetta Montoya, brother, Jesse Montoya, and half-brothers Johnny and Freddie Anaya. Also, by his nephew Jason Noel Montoya and Niece Clarrissa Montoya.
He is preceded in death by his father Juan Montoya, brother, Jason John Montoya, grandparents, Mary and Delfino Montoya, and Cuca and Edward J. Benavidez.
James was a very giving and loving person and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A Rosary for James will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 7065 2nd Ave, Canutillo, Texas 79835. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. An Inurnment will follow at 12:00 PM at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines Ln, Sunland Park, NM 88063.
